Advent 2022

Join us as we ponder, "where is your gaze?"

Advent is traditionally a time of waiting and anticipation. As we join with countless others across the centuries in waiting for the salvation promised through the Messiah, we so often get distracted from paying attention to the one who is Immanuel - God with us. You are invited into a journey which will change everything.

Nov 27-Dec 3

In week 1 of Advent, we take a look at longing and invitation through the lens of Mary, when the angel announced to her that she would bear a child and name him Jesus.

EVENT: Advent Afternoon,

Sun Nov 27, 3-5pm

Dec 4 - Dec 10

In week 2 of Advent, we watch Mary and Elizabeth co-laboring to greet the coming of God to the world in the person of Jesus. We celebrate that God chose to become human, to be fully Immanuel - God with us.

EVENT: Advent Afternoon

Sun Dec 4, 3-5pm

Dec 11- Dec 17

In week 3 of Advent, we acknowledge that acceptance requires a posture of openness and willingness. Where would we be if Mary had rejected the angel's message? But Mary didn't, though Joseph nearly did.

Looking for the perfect gift?

sustainable, economical, and is all about caring

Instead of a gift that will be used up or set aside, how about a gift that says "I CARE" for the certain someone who is hard to shop for? You choose if you want to "shop local" or support a global initiative. If you're interested in health care, mental health, economic security, or caring for orphans there's something for you!

It's easy!

Complete an order form, pay the amount you choose, and pick up cards and blurbs about the organization(s) you are supporting (or use your own!). Cards and blurbs are available at church. Deliver on Christmas Day to the delight of the generous-hearted friend or relative. That's it!
