  • Breakfast is served

    We are raising funds for a food bank in Tukwila, where the refugee families we support frequently receive food. Come to this pancake breakfast (with low-carb options as well!) after worship on Sep 28. 

  • Help with the Harvest

    Sat, Oct 4, 2-4pm

    Each year, we help FoodBank Farm to harvest from local farms to provide fresh fruit and veggies for food banks in our area. Our harvest date this year is Saturday, Oct 4, 2-4pm. Please join us! Contact Chris Aakre for more information. 

  • Book Study: Wrestling with the shift

    Beginning in October, we will start a Fall book study focusing on the book, "The Shift: surviving and thriving after moving from conservative to progressive Christianity." This promises to have lively discussions. We will host discussion groups on the third Sundays after worship, or the fourth Sundays at 7pm. Contact Pastor Brook for more info. 

  • Trunk or treat

    sun, oct 26, 1-3pm

    Always fun for kids and adults alike, we will decorate our cars, inflate bouncy adventures, pop popcorn, hand out candy and have a great time to celebrate our neighbors! Everyone invited.

  • Camp summit Sundays

    monthly on the 1st sunday @ 11:15-1

    This special monthly activity for kids is fun for grades K-5! Kids split up by age, and enjoy age-appropriate crafts, games, lunch, and time with friends! Bring a friend! Starts up again Sep 7!

  • Youth Summit

    monthly on the last sunday of each month, 11:15-1pm

    Hey 6-12th graders, this is YOUR time for fun, games, activities, stories, FOOD, and hanging with friends! Join us each LAST SUNDAY of the month, from 11:15-1pm for Youth Summit.

  • Women at the Well

    Weekly on Tuesdays @ 10am

    A group for women of all ages, focusing on Bible study and relationship-building. Every Tuesday at 10am. We ARE meeting through the summer.

  • Going Deeper

    Weekly on Sundays @ 11:15am

    Each Sunday after worship, we go deeper on the topic of the day. No prep required, just come and share your thoughts! We learn best together.


    GOING DEEPER will resume Sep 7. 


  • Book Club

    Monthly on second tuesdays @ 6pm

    Join us for a lively discussion of a wide array of books -- fiction and non-fiction, fun and educational -- each month. Contact Connie for information on this month's topic! 

  • Bear Creek Men

    Monthly on second Tuesdays @ 7pm

    Come for casual hangout and food! This rotates around different guys' homes so contact Doug Shirley or Andrew Walsh for location. 

  • Bear Creek Choir

    Weekly on Wednesdays @ 7pm

    Love to sing? Join the Bear Creek Choir! You don't have to be a trained musician - just have a heart to share music in worship! Rehearsals are Wed @ 7pm each week, and begin Sep 3.

  • Help settle refugee family

    Bear Creek is supporting a family of 10 who have come to the United States fleeing persecution. We are currently assisting them in setting up their new home. To support them, check out this Amazon Wishlist

  • Bring a dish for safe parking

    We regularly provide meals for the families living in their cars at Safe Parking @ LWUMC.
